Säikähtänyt vietän saunaan ja kylvetetään siellä ja kolme kertaa otetaan hikeä liinariepuun ja sitte puseretaan liinarievusta hikivesi pois ämpäriin, ja vietään vesi siihen paikkaan, josta luullaan säikähdyksen tarttuneen. Sitte vettä heittäessä luetaan sanat:
