Paran kutsuminen.

Paraa kutsuttaessa tarvitsee olla kutsujan mukana: rukin kehrävarsi, nöylekerä ja öylätti. Kutsujan tulee sanoa:

1"Tule Para,Come, Para,

2synny Para,be born, Para,

3panen puolen ruumistani,I place half of my body,

4toisen puolen sieluani,the other half of my soul,

5ei ole korvaa kuulemassa,there is no ear to hear,

6eikä silmää näkemässä."nor eye to see."

Paran kutsujan tulee olla sellaisessa paikassa, jossa ei kukaan ole näkemässä, eikä kuulemassa. Sillä jos joku on kuulemassa tai näkemässä, ei Para silloin tule. Huom! Para on haltia, jolta saa mitä pyytää.
