Lehmien laitumelle laskiessa.
Ennen kaikkea, haitaan metsästä yksikantanen pihlaja, se halkaistaan niin että tyvi ja latva jätetään kiinni eli halkasemata. Se sitten pannaan navetan ovelle avattuna, että lehmät pääsevät sen lävitse. Ensin tietysti päästetään kellokas, vaan jos kellokas haistelee maata, niin se otetaan kiinni ja viedään takaisin navettaan, päästetä[ä]n taas uudelleen ja samoin nytkin tehdään, sitten toisetkin päästetään ja lausutaan:
