The archive’s description
Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.
Morsianta neuvotaan nousemaan ennen muita. Johdantona voi olla Tunsit tulla, tunne olla, >Pidä itsesi pirteäni (aamulla silmät virkut) tai: älä odota muiden nousemista. Aikaista herätystä kuvataan eri tavoin:
1) neuvotaan nousemaan kukonlauluun: Ku se kukko kerran laulo, nii siä päätäsi ojenna; ku se kukko kaksin laulo, nii siä jalkoo kengittele; ku se kukko kolmin laulo, nii siä tuisaha tuppaa...
2) neuvotaan nousemaan kukotta: Sie kuule kukotta nousta, haukan ruoatta havaita, elä kuuntele kukoista, kanan lasta laulattele! Parempi on turvata Otavaan: Otavas on nooren nousu, ei oo kuus eik kukòis; ku on pursto pohjoisis, sarvet suuree merree, sit on aika jo nooren noussak, aika kaunoisen karatak. Otava-aihelmaan yhdistetään yleisesti >Käy ulkona usein uutta kuuta katsomassa. Joskus kyseessä yleisempi väittämä, ei hääruno (XIII2 4339).
3) Kannaksen piirissä varhain nousemiseen liitetään Päivän kera kilpaa -runon säkeitä: Sie tie liitto päivän kanss', Päivän kanss', kuun kerall'. Joskus vain kehotus: Nouse ilman nostamatta; Nouse aamulla varrain.
Aikaisen nousun neuvominen jatkuu erilaisten aamutöiden kuvauksella; Kannaksella sitä voi edeltää viite verevän nuoren miehen viereltä nousemiseen.
