The archive’s description
Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.
Vastaanottolaulussa osoitetaan kohtelaisuutta vävyn väelle. Karjalassa vastaanottoaihelmista laajimpia ovat hevosenhoitoon liittyvät kehotussarjat: Lasettoa vävyn orone vesasista vembelistä; Piehtaroittagoa vävyn orone vereksellä vidizellä; Juottakkoate vävyn orone herasesta hettehestä; Apattakkoa vävyn orone lessyin leivin, pessyin kagroin; Viekääte vävyn orone kultasehen kuominahan; Sidokkahe vävyn orone patvisehe patsahasse jne. Nämä esitetään sulhasen tullessa morsiamen taloon, yleensä Vävyn virressä (I, II, VII, vrt. myös V ja XIII). VII1: tekstit ovat rajakarjalaisessa jatkossa Kilpalaulantaan, eivät siis häärunokontekstissa.
Inkerissä (III-IV) hevosenhoitokehotuksia on esittänyt sulhasväki, ja vasta morsiustalon pöydässä: Onko näälii (sedän poikia) tuvassa - Korjatkaa velloni hevonen kultaisille kulmenille; Viekää velloni hevone tallihe takimaisee; Sitokaa velloni hevone kultaisee kuuritsaa, soimelle hopiaiselle; Syötelkää velloni hepoista pessyin kagroin, lessyin odrin; Joottakaa velloini hepoine jne. Lisäksi hevosen tunnistuksia (esim: veljen hevonen vöillä vyötetty) sekä ylistyksiä: Harjalla hanet munivat, pääsky laulaa päälaella jne. (Ks. Sulhasen hevosen ylistys.)
