The archive’s description

Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.

Äidinylistys, joka keskittyy varhaislapsuuden hoitotoimiin.

Runon ytimenä ovat seuraavat, eri alueilla eri tavoin painottuvat aihelmat: 1) pesu ja kapalointi, 2) tuuditus (erit. III), 3) imetys (V, XIII), 4) unesta ja ruoasta luopuminen, 5) Yleisluontoinen Hyvä vaimo miunki vaali -säesarja (V2 870, V3 430, 479, 705). Joskus jatkuu hoidon tuloksen eli oman kauneuden ylistyksellä ja vakuutuksilla: kehtaan mennä kylään (ks. Kiitos emolle, kun teki mokoman). V2 1505: häärunossa sinä-muodossa sulhaselle tämän äidistä.

Samantapaisia hoidon kuvauksia esiintyy erillisinä Ks. myös-aihelmissa; yhteisiä alkusäkeitä >Emo on nähnyt suuren vaivan -aiheessa. Yhdistyy usein Poikako vai tyttö runon loppukuvioksi (erit. III). Jatkona toistuvasti Emo tuuti turvaksensa (ei tullut turva).
