The archive’s description
Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.
Kuuluu Ritvalan helkavirsisikermään. Helkavirsiä lukuunottamatta painottuu eteläiselle runoalueelle. Länsi-Inkerissä Annikaisen virteen liittyy muita aiheita, esim. Sulhonsa kylvettäjä, Meren kosijat, Keski-Inkerissä mm. Hanhi kadonnut. Etelä-Karjalassa runon alkusäkeet ovat lähes aina yhdistyneet Meren kosijat -runoon. Vrt. myös häärunot: >Tuokaa turulle tulta, alle vallin valkiaista. Ks. myös Yksi on tuuli turvinani (VII), jossa samoja "Meren tyrskyt tyynynäni" yms. säkeitä lyyrisessä yhteydessä.
