The archive’s description
Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.
Tähän on koottu kaikki ne tekstiviitteet, joissa kosinta suuntautuu hiiteen, hiitolaan. Runo kuuluu laajaan ansiotyökosintarunojen sikermään. Ydinaihe: Anni-tyttö menee hakemaan vettä/yön tytti, hämärän neiti pesee pestyjä sopia, näkee kolme miestä veneessä, kysyy, minne ovat matkalla. Menee sanomaan sepolle, joka valmistautuu lähtemään. Äiti kieltelee. Seppo hiiteen kosimaan, ansiotöitä. Kiista kotimatkalla, seppo muuttaa neidon lokiksi. - Johdantojaksona on usein Iro-neito (II, VII). Huom. myös satutyypit AT 513A ja B(Ihmeelliset apulaiset), AT 531 B (Viisas hevonen) ja AT 300A (Taistelu sillalla).
