The archive’s description

Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.

Johdantosäkeitä Kannaksen piirissä: Lennä lintu, kiiä korppi. Ydinaihe: Kanna korppi kaihojani, musta lintu murhettani - kanna kaivohon syvähän, lampehen kalattomahan - kun kannat kalallisehe, kalat kaikki huolestuvi, ahvenet alas mänevi (hauvet halki parsahtaat; lohen pojat pois tulevat; sären lillit liukenoot) - miun on hoikan huoliani, miun mustan murehiani. Tähtiteksteissä vain alkusäe tai runon loppuosaa ilman korppi-johdantoa.

Huolten kuljetus kalattomaan kaivoon liittyy Suomen Karjalassa myös Ei ole sitä hevosta -aiheseen. Loitsuissa ja paikoin epiikassakin kalaton kaivo on yleinen manauspaikka; Tulen synty -loitsun liinankylvö-kohtauksessa esiintyy Suistamolla säesarja: Viedih järveh kalakkahah, kalat äsken huolestuubi, ahvenet alas mänööbi; viedihbö kalattomahe (ks. Kilpalaulanta I, II; LOITSUT: Tulen synty VII3 624, 627-627c, 633, 634, 1374, 1381). Kalojen huolestuminen esiintyy joskus myös oman hukkumisen kuvitelmissa (>Kun mie kuolisin kotihin; >Sijan tiedän missä synnyin ks. VII2 1872, 1883, 1906).

Aihe yhdistyy valitusketjuihin, erityisesti muihin huolista vapautumisen toivekuviin (Ei ole sitä hevosta, Huolihevonen).
