The archive’s description

Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.

Turvattomuuden kuvaus: Polin (jouvuin; emo pani/heitti) puulle pyörivälle, varvalle vapisevalle (oksalle osattomalle jne.). Myös monikossa: puille pyöriville (lehtilöille liekkuville jne.). Jatkosäkeet erilaisia etelässä ja pohjoisessa: 1) Mihin puu pyörähtää, mie pyörähän keralla, mihin varpa vaarahtaa, mie vaarahan keralla; Puu pyöri, mie putosin. varpa vaaru, mie vapisin (IV-V-XIII), 2) Olisi minulle ollut puita pyörimättömiä, varpoja varallisia (II, VII). Tähtiteksteissä vain jatkosäkeitä.

Pohjoisessa johdantosäkeinä poloisen pojan valituksia (Voi minua poloista poikaa/piikaa) ja yhteytenä usein Vieraalle maalle joutunut. Etelässä johdantona laajalti Osasi emo omenan tehdä, ja sitten äiti pani pyöriville puille. Liittyy joustavasti myös kodittoman, miniän ja orvon valituksiin, kertoviinkin runoihin (Väinämöisen ammunta I, Laivassa surmattu veli V3).
