The archive’s description

Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.

Nuku nuku nukkeroinen (kukkaseni), pane maata mansikkainen, pyhän pellon pientareelle. Jatkosäkeissä kehotetaan makean maidon juojaa nukkumaan makeasti. Toisinaan luvataan kääriä kehto kukkasilla tai esitetään toive, että tuudittaja saisi itsekin maata, vrt Nukuta Jumala lasta.

Lännessä (VIII, X, XIV) jatkona esiintyy myös Lintu tuopi liinapaidan -aihe. Samoin lännessä (VIII, X) tavataan säeparia Kyllä Herra herättää, vitsan varpu virvoittaa, vrt. >Nuku nuku nurmilintu.
