The archive’s description

Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.

Nukuta Jumala lasta, makahuta Maariainen, saisin itse maataksein, kylässä käyäksein, rieskamaidot juodaksein, penkit pitkät pestäksein, lattiat laastaksein jne. Vienassa (I) jatko: Pyhä risti nostamah, vassuksia voittamah! IVvat 4689: Pyhä Maria makauttakoo, Jumala leekuttakoo. Kerran pyydetään Mariaa tuomaan unta, "jota on Ristus nukkununna" (I 666).

Muutamissa tapauksissa uni, unonen on korvannut Jumalan, jolloin aihe lähenee unen personifikaatio -aiheita, vrt. esim. Tule tuutuhun unonen.

Tuudittelijan omaa lepohetkeä koskeva toivomus esiintyy yleisesti muidenkin aiheiden yhteydessä, vrt. esim >Nuku nuku nurmilintu ja Tule uni ulkoa.
