The archive’s description
Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.
Unta kutsutaan ulkomailta (naapurista, Nuutilasta, ulkoa, ukkolasta, porstuasta) sisään tupaan, joko tuomaan unta vakkasessa, sitomaan lapsen silmät kiinni tai käymään tämän kätkyeen.
Silmien sitomisaihe ja kehottava muoto liittävät runon hyvin läheisesti Tule uni uunin päältä -runoon. Kätkyeeseen käymisen suhteen rajanveto Tule tuutuhun unonen -aiheeseen on toisinaan hankalaa.
Lännessä (VIII, X) vaikea erotella Uni ulkoa kysyy -aiheesta, jonka kanssa muuallakin herkästi ketjuuntuu.
