The archive’s description
Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.
Aa tuuti lasta, tule surma vastaan, lyö kurikalla kumpaakin, likkaa sekä lasta! Surman sijaan saatetaan kutsua unta (VIII, osin VI ja XIII), jolloin pyyntö yleensä pehmenee: Sijo meiän lapsen silmät, kuro meijän lapsen kulmat, sijo silkkirihmoillasi, kuro kultanauhoillasi.
Muodoltaan muistuttaa Aa lullaa lasta, kissa vastaan -aihetta.
* Surman tilalla uni, ukko tai kissa.
