Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.

Aa tuuti lasta, kissa tuli vastaan, kissa hyppäs kiikun päälle ja kiikutteli lasta. Jatkona joskus (osin VIII, IX1, X, XIV) yhteisiä säkeitä Aa lullaa lasta, muori, isä vastaan -aiheen kanssa: Keppi käres, pussi seljäs, pitkät tossut jalas; Kissa istui kiikun päällä, keri lankaa lastun päällä.

Vrt. myös Tule surma vastaan, jota muotonsa puolesta suuresti muistuttaa.
