What this shows

Each wordform in the corpus has been annotated with grammatical and stylistic categories from morphological analysis. This page lets you browse all 65 categories and explore which wordforms belong to each.

Category types

Poetic/Stylistic (green): archaic, poetic, refrain, diminutive, onomatopoeic, reduplicated, reduplicative, southern — stylistic markers especially relevant for runosong research.
Grammatical cases (blue): abessive, ablative, adessive, allative, comitative, elative, essive, genitive, illative, inessive, nominative, partitive, terminative, translative.
Verb forms (orange): active, causative, conditional, frequentative, gerund, imperative, infinitive, participle, passive, past, present, etc.
Word classes (purple): adjective, adverb, compound, conjunction, dialect, noun, numeral, pronoun, verb, etc.
