The archive’s description
Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.
Näärännäpyn lyhyt loitsu on jaettavissa kolmeen perustyyppiin: koiralle osoitettu kehotus ottaa nänni pois silmästä, toistettu toteamus asiaintilasta ("Näärännäppy on silmässäin") sekä taikatapaan viittaava tai poistumiskehoituksen motivaatioksi esitetty väite "Näärännäppy, kotas/kotis/kirkkos palaa!". Dialogimuoto on yleinen. Paiseen sanat esiintyvät muutaman kerran.
