The archive’s description
Written by the editors of the SKVR type index and quoted as it stands, in Finnish.
Kysymys-vastaus -muotoinen ketjuaihelma, jossa kuvataan joko maa- tai järvi/meri -maisemaa Esim. Mikä tuolla näkyy?- Talo tuolla näkyy. Mikä talon takana? Tammi talon takana. Tammessa aitta. jne tai Mitkä nuo merellä uivat? - Sorsat. Mitä sorsan siiven alla? - Kätkyt? Mitä kätkyessä? jne. Esiintyy useimmiten jonkin kertovan aihelman yhteydessä, usein Neljän neidon runon, kultakangasta kutovan neidon (Kultalangan katkeaminen) johdantona. Jatkona usein aihelma veljestä/pojasta, jonka kirveestä singonneen lastun paikalle rakennetaan kirkko.
